Re-Fresh your wardrobe at H&M Durham
The team from H&M at Prince Bishops Shopping Centre are encouraging students to make an extra effort to recycle during Freshers' Week.
You can find the team from H&M, and an opportunity to recycle your unwanted textiles at the DSU Freshers' Fair on Thursday 3rd October. Simply bring along an unwanted item to Freshers' and exchange it for a money off voucher to spend in-store.
They are welcoming donations of all textiles from all brands, in any condition. If you don't make it along to the Freshers' Fair you can always make recycle in-store at the donation bins next to the ground floor cash desk.
H&M believe it’s senseless that so many clothes and discarded textiles end up in landfill. Recycling is one of many ways H&M are fulfilling their goals towards a sustainable future. In 2018, they collected 20,649 tonnes of textiles for reuse and recycling through our garment collecting initiative. That’s 16% more than last year and represents the equivalent of 103 million T-shirts.
You can find more information on recycling at H&M here. T&Cs apply, see in-store for full details.
